Unison There for You

Hello my name is Hari Stephens and I am the Unison Welfare Officer for the Norwich City branch.

You may not be aware but UNISON Welfare is a separate charity that provides a unique and confidential service offering advice and support just for UNISON members and their families.

We offer

  • Listening and support
  • Financial assistance
  • Breaks and holidays
  • Debt advice
  • Personal advice

All these services are free.  Whether it’s an accident or injury at work, bullying or stress or a legal issue, there is usually a role for UNISON’s charity to play in helping members as well as addressing problems collectively. There are many other personal problems where we can help such as illness, relationship breakdown, domestic violence or debt.

In short UNISON There for You enhances and complements the work of the union in supporting members at work and at home. Within the charity we can call upon specialists who can help in a crisis either financially by offering grants or perhaps to help to deal with debts.

If you would like to give me a call, please ‘phone me on 01603 213373. All information will, of course be treated discretely and in confidence.
