Annual General Meeting

The branch annual general meeting will take place on Wednesday 11th March 2015 in the Council Chamber, City Hall, Norwich commencing at 12.45pm.  Refreshments will be avaialbale outside the chamber from 12.15.

Norwich City UNISON Annual General Meeting 2013

The branch annual general meeting will take place on Wednesday 13th March 2013 in the Council Chamber, City Hall, Norwich commencing at 12.45pm.

Norwich City UNISON is “Your Union” and we want to encourage more people to get involved and there are ways that you can do this including coming to the Annual General Meeting or becoming a workplace representative or contact.

We want to increase involvement and local organisation so that we all get more out of union membership.

The union is its membership and we want you to feel that you are having your say.

A Future That Works

On Saturday 20th October 2012, thousands of people will join the TUC march in London, to tell the government that their savage spending cuts are unnecessary, unfair and not working! For the next five years or more, unless policies change the economy will not grow, incomes will not rise, and there will be almost no new jobs.

LGPS 2014 - Ballot Result Announced

UNISON members across England and Wales have voted 90.2% in favour of accepting the proposed changes to the Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS).

Four out of five service groups say vote 'yes' in the LGPS ballot

Members covered by Local Government Pension Scheme in England and Wales are being urged to vote yes to a new LGPS 2014 scheme when they are balloted this month. In all around 660,000 members in five UNISON service groups will be covered by the ballot, including:

On 30th November 2011, members from this branch, along with many others across the country took industrial action in support of our pensions.  In addition members from a number of other trade union also took part in the action at their own workplaces and in support of their own pensions.
